Brene Brown said it best in her statement, “ I believe that you have to walk through vulnerability to get to courage, therefore…embrace the suck.” However, you don’t have to do it alone. And it doesn’t have to suck all the time. When you develop a relationship with a spiritual mentor where you feel seen and heard in your experiences, you will find new ways to solve problems, heal old wounds, and change the way you live your life. I am here to help you identify existing strengths, as well as introduce you to new approaches for remembering your own intuitive abilities. You’ll find it takes less time than you think. And we’ll laugh a lot. :)
I believe taping into your own intuitive abilities will help you discover your greatest potential in this life time so you can identify your own personal medicine. This often requires digging deep to not only illuminate these gifts and hidden talents but also to heal patterns and beliefs that may be holding them back. I am also dedicated to creating an open and inclusive environment that welcomes diversity of all kinds. Even through the hard times, I am committed to providing uplifting heart-centered experiences that assist individuals to identify the best version of themselves- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University and an Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina Columbia. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over a decade and have worked in trauma services for more than twenty years. I am an Usui Reiki second degree practitioner and a student of the Power Path School of Shamanism. Personal experience with a traumatic brain injury and PTSD has influenced my interest in, and specialty around, brain and neurological science and how that correlates to mind, body, and spirit connection.
When I’m not seeing clients, I am hauling kids to soccer or swim practice, taking random pictures of the clouds, and constantly pointing out all the double, triple, and quadruple numbers I see (everywhere).
